Frederic Rebena

Frédéric Rébéna was born in February 19th, 1965, in Clermont (Oise, France). He graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (ENSAD,Arts Déco Paris) and, in 1989, geared towards comic strips in the (A Suivre) magazine.

Illustrator for children and teens, he has co-signed over sixty pieces (jointly with Marie Nimier, Renaud, Sylvie Granotier, Zidrou, Moka, Gudule, Joseph Périgot....) and worked with the most prestigious editing entities in the children and teens sector (Hatier, Albin Michel, Seuil, Nathan, Hachette, Syros....). He is also known for revisiting Enyd Blyton' Famous Five' s universe.

Frédéric also work for magazines and newspapers, edition and advertisement. He also realized posters and record covers (Boby Lapointe, Renaud, Charles Trenet). He published in 2009 with the editor Denoel Graphic the comic books version of New York's writer Jerôme Charyn's novel "Marilyn La Dingue". This work has been pre-published in the famous french newspaper Libération throughout the whole summer 2008.

His most recent work highlights his illustrator skills: Snow White with editor Nathan, Claude Roy's poems with editor Bayard and San Antonio with editor Robert Laffont.
